Keith Chapman
Keith Chapman is currently president and managing director of Horizon Business Group, LLC. He has earned the designation as Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI). Keith is a certified public accountant with 23 years experience in public accounting before entering the merger and acquisition field in 1998. He was the managing partner in a CPA firm for 15 years. He is well experienced in taxation and accounting matters, business valuations, and financial analysis. Keith teaches courses in business valuation for the International Business Brokers Association and the Texas Association of Business Brokers. He has also led seminars for members of the accounting profession, the American Institute of Banking, and various trade associations. He has also been qualified as an expert witness in litigation involving business valuations.

Keith is a member of the Texas Association of Business Brokers (TABB) with the designation of Board Certified Broker, the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) with the designation of Certified Business Intermediary, and the M&A Source with the designation of a Merger and Acquisition Master Intermediary. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of CPAs. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

Keith is a Past President of the Texas Association of Business Brokers and has served on various committees of the International Business Brokers Association. Keith has also served as president of the chamber of commerce, president of the Lions club, and has served on the board of the East Texas Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is a silver beaver recipient and previously named as Panola County Citizen of the Year.



Pete Healey
Pete Healey joined Horizon Business Group in 2004. Prior to joining HBG, Pete spent 19 years in the corporate world mostly as CFO of publicly traded companies. During that time, Pete's emphasis was in areas including mergers & acquisitions, equity placements, debt restructurings (both in and out of Chapter 11 protection) taxation, SEC reporting, and banking relations. Prior to entering the corporate world, Pete spent 6 years in the tax department of the nation's largest CPA firm where he specialized in providing tax advice in mergers and acquisitions for transactions in numerous industries.

Pete is a Board Certified Broker as designated by the Texas Association of Business Brokers. He graduated magna cum laude with a BSBA in finance from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 1979 and became a certified public accountant in 1980. Prior to entering the University, he spent 4 years in the United States Air Force, earning the Air Force accommodation medal prior to his honorable discharge



Todd Buchanan
Todd Buchanan joined Horizon Business Group in 2006. Prior to joining HBG, Todd spent 17 years in the corporate world most recently running a wireless division of a Fortune 100 company for 4 years. Todd has held other senior positions in the telecommunications industry including director of finance and director of inventory operations. Prior to senior management, Todd held roles in the telecommunications and coal industry as a senior financial analyst, a senior accountant, and a cost accountant over a 10 year period. Todd is a member of several professional and civic organizations including the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), the Texas Association of Business Brokers (TABB), the M&A Source, the South Tyler Rotary Club, and the Tyler Chamber of Commerce. Todd is an active member of the Tyler Primitive Baptist Church and Tyler Christian Businessmen.

Todd earned a BA in Accounting from Texas Lutheran College in 1989, passed the Texas CPA exam in 1991 (not licensed), earned the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) in 2006, and has resided on a number of corporate and industry association boards of which he is currently VP of Education of the DFW Chapter of TABB and serves on the Education Sub-Committee of the M&A Source.
